Each year between 95-99% of our revenue comes from private households, businesses, foundations, and grants.
Our fundraising and marketing efforts help us to connect with our supporters to share stories and impact of their generosity. Plus, helps us have a sustainable future by seeking new partners and supporters in our work.
Only 11% of general donations goes to our fundraising efforts. These efforts include:
Quarterly newsletters (printing and postage fees)
Fundraising events
Mail-out campaigns
Impact reports and meetings
Why do we spend money on fundraising and marketing?
We see all our supporters as partners to our work. Together we see value when we communicate to existing supporters and invite potential new ones to partner with us.
Our organization only receives 1% of our annual revenue through government grants.
We need to appeal to our generous community often to maintain revenue so we can continue to serve at-risk kids, youth, and families
