Tirzah Kleinsasser

Tirzah started working full-time at ICYA in January 2022 as the Thursday drop-in coordinator and bridge member. She had previously volunteered at Drop-in in high school so ICYA was already a familiar place. She graduated from High School in 2021 and didn't have a clear direction to go in other than following advice she had been given; find where God's peace lies. Tirzah believes that in leading her to ICYA, God gave her a gift and purpose bigger than she could’ve imagined. Through building relationships with youth in the North End, she is committed to showing Jesus' love while He helps her grow in wisdom and character. Walking the streets and greeting familiar faces reminds her constantly of how she can walk like Jesus walked.

As for her personal life, she has a large and tight-knit family. Her parents own a catering business which the whole family is part of in some capacity . Her main hobby is Martial Arts; Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, and Jo Staff Combat are her primary interests.
