Sam Ayigbe

Sam first heard about ICYA through John Vasilli, who he knew worked in The Bridge. This introduction came at a very opportune time when Sam was wondering where God wanted him to be and what he wanted him to do. After some thoughtful time in prayer and waiting for an answer, Sam felt as if ICYA was the place where God was calling him to be. So he proceeded to apply for the job, and in time by God’s grace, Sam started as a Bridge Team member in September of 2022.

Sam currently works full-time as the Teens Drop-in Coordinator. He has a heart for building relationships with the youth in the North End and through those relationships showing God’s love and helping each kid see the potential that they have. He is excited to have the opportunity to spend time with the youth and show them the love that God showed him in any way that he can. When he is not working, Sam loves to make music, eat, and hang out with friends.
