Jenelle Cameron

Jenelle was introduced to ICYA when her mom started working here as an administration assistant a few years before she applied. She saw some of the bridge staff and how they worked with the youth and felt called to work at ICYA. Jenelle eventually went out of her comfort zone and applied to ICYA in June 2022 as a summer staff.

Jenelle runs Teen drop-in nights, as well as Kids and when she first started at ICYA she got to help at St. Aidan’s Christian School. Jenelle is grateful to have the opportunity to build relationships with youth in the North End and looks forward to witnessing how these youth will continue to grow in maturity and in relation with Christ.

Jenelle studies at the University of Manitoba, working towards getting into the Faculty of Architecture. In Jenelle's spare time she often paints, listens to music, studies for university courses and spends time with her loved ones (as well as her beloved cat Jasper!)
