Ashlyn Frost

Ashlyn is part of the Bridge Drop In team, running Wednesday night drop in. She recently graduated from university with a bachelor of social work. After graduating, she began looking for a job. Her previous employer told her that she thought God was calling Ashlyn to ministry. She prayed and thought about it and decided that ministry was where God was calling her to be. She trusted that God would work it out and he did! She was hired at ICYA in summer of 2022 and started working at Gem lake wilderness camp! She left for camp trusting that God would supply her with a place to live when she returned back to Winnipeg. By His grace and timing, she found an apartment with a bus that brings her right to ICYA.

Ashlyn loves being a part of ICYA because she is able to bring the light of God’s love to the kids in Winnipeg’s north end! She sees the love everyone at ICYA shares for the community and people, and it is a joy to build those relationships and get to know and love the people in the community.

In her free time, Ashlyn enjoys doing archery, cross country skiing, embroidery stitching, and reading a good book!
