Become a Volunteer
Join a great team striving to bring hope and
future to youth and their families in Winnipeg's North End.
Each of our programs provides the opportunity for significant
and meaningful volunteer involvement. Whether joining a staff
or volunteer team, your life will be impacted. It is our desire
for your experience to be life-changing and life-giving: both
for you and those you serve.
The purpose of The Bridge drop-in is to equip leaders to introduce
youth to a relationship with a loving God. The drop-in strives
to be a safe, accepting, and exciting environment. The format

working in the drop-in centre every Tuesday and 12 –
15 volunteers on Thursday nights. Youth can come and go as they
please. While at the drop-in, there are games, activities, snacks,
tournaments, and a variety of other things youth can get involved

Volunteers generally follow a two-step process. First, contact Inner City Youth Alive and ask to speak with the Volunteer Coordinator to discuss the program you are interested in and arrange a time to come in and check it out. Second, fill out the volunteer application, child abuse registry and criminal check forms (latter two only if working directly with youth). Once completed and approved, we welcome you to our team!
